Grace Pointe Worship

all we are, responding to all He is.

what is worship?

worship is not a magical word. worship is a lifestyle that reflects what you truly love. genuine worship is God-ward.  it is both personal and collective.  although worship is not about us, we connect with God by responding to Him through worship and by this we experience His power and presence.

who we are.

we are artists with varying levels of skill; whose desire is to use the gifts that God has given to us to bring glory to Him through: Spirit-led worship, intimate relationships,  excellence, and team.

what we believe.

we believe that we were created to worship and, by God’s grace, we are all given gifts to enhance our worship. (1Cor.12) not all worship is musical, and by extension not all gifts are musical.  all gifts are important to the kingdom of God just as each person in the kingdom is equally important.  we view our worship not as something to glorify ourselves rather; we do it to glorify Christ.  we believe that the ultimate act of worship is through service of God and others. (Matt. 22:35-40, Matt. 20:28)

why we are here.

it is our daily desire to partner with God the Holy Spirit in the ministry of corporate worship by creating a worshipful environment through prayer, relevant music, excellence (not perfection), and the desire to see all people come to a place of intimacy with Christ.

"Worship is a divine privilege, and with that privilege comes a great responsibility to show generosity to others in the body of Christ through all we do. We should never leave worship to the pastors and worship leaders. We all need to learn to be excellent, extravagant worshipers, generous in our service to one another and generous in our expression of love toward one another."
